Team Printoura—comprising Sreeram Kumar (RA231103011380), Harish P (RA231103011381), and Harshad (RA231103011396)—secured First Place in the Open Innovation Project category at Tech Fusion ’25, the National Level Project Expo held at Crescent Institute of Science and Technology on January 30, 2025
Ayush Daga (RA2311003010222), Pavithra CP (RA2311003010234), and Nikhil CP (RA2311030010168)—for receiving the Best Project Award and a ₹10,000 cash prize at the UYIR Road Safety Hackathon 2025 Grand Finale. The event, held on February 8–9 at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, was organized by UYIR in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Government and IEEE. Our team stood out among 145 finalists selected from over 3,263 submissions nationwide. This achievement highlights their innovative approach to enhancing road safety.
Nilesh Kanti (RA2311003011339) from B2 section, 2nd year, for securing the 1st Runner-Up position at CodeFest’25, SRMTech’s 36-hour hackathon. His team, Void Main(), developed a GenAI-powered Supply Chain Manager, earning a ₹20,000 cash prize and certificates. The event, held on February 10–11, 2025, witnessed participation from over 90 teams and 300+ students from SRMIST. Their innovative solution stood out among intense competition, showcasing exceptional problem-solving skills.
A team of second-year SRM students—Krishna Somani (Q1), Abhay Kumar (P1), and Vishnu Gupta (P1)—emerged victorious at Tem-E-Thon 2025, a national-level hackathon organized by Temenos at Anna University, Chennai. Competing against over 1,000 teams, they advanced to the finals and clinched the top spot. Each team member was awarded a 15-inch MacBook Air M3 as part of the ₹10,00,000 prize pool. Their innovative solution focused on leveraging AI and IoT for sustainability, showcasing exceptional problem-solving skills and technical prowess.
Pratham K. (RA2311003012072) and Niswa Hareesh Karthikeyan (RA2311003012107) secured 1st place in the Cybersecurity Capture the Flag Hackathon held at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, from February 10–14, 2025. The event was part of the “Mastering Ethical Hacking” workshop organized by the Department of Computer Science and Applications (MCA) in association with Supraja Technologies, Vijayawada. Their outstanding performance earned them internship offers, highlighting their exceptional skills in ethical hacking and cybersecurity.
Surya Aditya, an 18-year-old from the 2nd year Department of Computing Technologies, SRM IST Chennai KTR Campus, Chennai, made India proud by finishing second in the Asian Equestrian Federation Youth Cup. He accomplished this astounding feat by completing the difficult 11-obstacle, 1.15m show jumping course in 71.42 seconds without earning any penalty points.
Surya’s second-place finish reflects his hard work and determination. He finished only 6.22 seconds behind the winner, demonstrating his remarkable riding skills and ability to bear pressure. This accomplishment not only demonstrates Surya’s potential, but it also inspires young equestrians across India to pursue their dreams and strive for excellence.
F. Manish Anto Cristiano has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the 28th position in the FIDE World Junior Chess Championship 2024. This outstanding performance showcases his exceptional talent, dedication, and strategic acumen in the highly competitive world of chess. His success not only brings pride to his name but also serves as an inspiration for aspiring chess players across the globe.
Our Final year students were actively participated in various hackathon events such asMOZO HACK, SRM TECHNO HACKATHON 2023, Optum Stratethon, NASA SAC, Ultron 5.0, The Crisis India Online Hackathon, SRM Hackathon 7.0, IIT Kharagpur Hackathon, and BUG BYTE LEAGUE Hackathon.

Manasa and Nikeeta secured first place at the Aarush Hackathon Hack Summit 4.0. Their exceptional skills and innovative solutions led them to this remarkable achievement, earning them a prestigious cash prize of ₹50,000.
Vishal Khumar P D (RA2111003010667), Ganesh K (RA2111003010298), and Rajvignesh B.S (RA2111003010313) from the team ‘SONIC BOOMS’ have achieved an exceptional feat by clinching the top position in the hackathon SCRIPT SONIC conducted by NWC. Gokul (RA2111003011019), has been chosen to represent the Indian Roller-Skating Team at the prestigious 19th Asian Roller-Skating Championship, scheduled to be held in China from October 18th to 28th, 2023.
